Fluke
Introduces Pistol-Grip IR Thermometers Mississauga, ON, August 4, 2004 - Fluke Electronics Canada, an industry innovator in compact, professional electronic test tools, introduces three new models to its family of infrared thermometers. Created to meet the needs of electrical, plant maintenance, facility maintenance, HVAC/R, and automotive technicians, the Fluke 63, 66, and 68 IR thermometers feature pistol grips for easy handling and a laser sighting system for accurate aiming. With distance to spot ratios of 12, 30 and 50:1 they are ideal for measuring rotating, electrically live, dangerously hot, or hard-to-reach objects. The IR thermometers offer an intuitive user interface, sleek ergonomic design, and single trigger activation for ease of use. When the trigger is depressed and held down, the laser illuminates and temperature readings are continuously updated and displayed on the backlit LCD screen. Models 66 and 68 feature adjustable emissivity settings, 12-point data logging and selectable MAX, MIN, DIF, and AVG functions that display values instantly with a Hi/Lo alarm. The thermometers are built to withstand harsh field use with cases that are splash and dust resistant and built to withstand three-foot drops. All three models come complete with carrying case and tripod mounting. Optional accessories include a holster and RTD temperature probe (66 and 68 models only). |
